A sensible, unshowy class lands the Texans a B-.

The Texans did not so much draft Josiah Ezirim as overpay for him, 44 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. However the rest shakes out, Sweat at that price is a win they earned.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
