The rest of the league will want that one back. David Stone tumbling to the 49ers in No. 58 is a gift they did not have to think twice about.

If Williams pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast.

They will regret leaving linebacker for another day if the season turns on it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but linebacker.
