Draft Grade — Jaguars

FutureA+
The Jaguars won the night they stopped Emmanwori from sliding. Grade: A. The real work happened on the phones. The Jaguars fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with. Just about everything broke right, and the A follows.
The wide receiver spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Getting Emmanwori where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.
The Greg Newsome II deal gives the class an established piece to lean on. They left with interior defensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
Bottom line, with Walter Nolen leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
Pick Analysis
Pick33
Rnd2
Walter Nolen
Value with a capital V on Walter Nolen in No. 33, a genuine coup. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick36
Rnd2
Nick Emmanwori
Nick Emmanwori at Round 2, Pick 4 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
