You build a draft on nights like this. Josaiah Stewart had no business being available in the Round 7 slot, and the 49ers did the only sane thing and turned in the card. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

Cam Ward gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 7 of 8 of the wish list covered. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
