They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Oluwafemi Oladejo, 54 picks early at No. 86. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

Monangai at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 8 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball. They bet on numbers rather than a single high pick.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
