Nobody else had Derrick Moore anywhere near slot 88. The Bengals did, by 54 spots, and that gap is the whole story. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

The Haulcy pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. They will answer for taking safety early while tight end, wide receiver and other spots went begging. The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
