The Vikings let Skattebo fall into their laps, and walked away with a B-.

Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Cam Skattebo got past him. The Vikings do not have to explain a thing at the 139th overall pick. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

Reaching for Jackson left real value on the table behind him. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. Safety is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
