The rest of the league had time to spare on Brian Ugwu; the Saints did not wait, grabbing him 34 spots ahead at slot 200. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

Leaving wide receiver unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. On value alone, Hopper makes the weekend a net positive. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
