The Williams reach set a tone the Buccaneers could not shake: F.

Boards are made to be trusted, and the Buccaneers shredded theirs for James Williams. He came off 33 spots early, and the room will hear about it.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. Spending an early pick on TE-EDGE with interior defensive lineman, tight end and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.

The McConkey steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

There is no soft landing here: they fought the board and left interior defensive lineman open, and the grade is the bill.
