You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Chargers did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high.

Every board in the league had Sanders lower, and that gap is the story. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Bech.
