You can draft well and still miss the point. The Titans did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to edge rusher, which was the need that mattered most.

Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 1 of 8 of the wish list covered. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
