The Patriots land in the muddy middle: C+.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Patriots did exactly that with Que Robinson in the 106th pick. Some smart calls, some head-scratchers, and a C+ in the wash.

The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The dealing tilted against them, just enough to notice.

Hit on Will Johnson and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.
