That Sadiq pick is the receipt they will wave around later. Every board in the league had Fields lower, and that gap is the story. The roster is better shaped than it was, with linebacker chief among the fixes.

They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
