The Vikings put a flag in the ground for Isaac TeSlaa, 34 picks before anyone else would have, and the value took the hit. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

The Howard pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.
