Hunter should have been long gone. The Vikings pounced, and earned a B.

You build a draft on nights like this. Jarquez Hunter had no business being available in slot 230, and the Vikings did the only sane thing and turned in the card.

Thornton Jr. has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Job largely done: safety settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.

They trusted the board more than the depth chart.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
