You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Vikings did exactly that with Thor Griffith in the 227th overall pick. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

Skattebo at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback.

Safety was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
