You can draft well and still miss the point. The Panthers did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to cornerback, which was the need that mattered most. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.
They went 1 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
