The Buccaneers drew a line under the quarterback search with McCarthy: B-.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Buccaneers spent their marquee pick on J.J. McCarthy, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

They are betting Solomon proves the room right and everyone else wrong. On value alone, Devonshire makes the weekend a net positive.

They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Buccaneers indulged a want in Solomon while a need in interior defensive lineman and running back stayed open.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
