The board owed the Buccaneers one, and it paid up: Dorian Singer, the No. 176 name on the board, sitting there at pick No. 220 like a gift left on the doorstep.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. The Travis reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.
