Draft Grade — Ravens
Overall

FutureA+
The Ravens got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the C+. Some picks age like wine; Demon Clowney at No. 252 will need to, sitting 85 spots clear of his grade.
The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. The wide receiver spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. However the rest shakes out, Banks at that price is a win they earned.
Call it incomplete, and check back in a couple of seasons.
Pick Analysis
Pick45
Rnd2
Caleb Banks
They barely believed it either: Caleb Banks still on the board at No. 45. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick60
Rnd2
Dillon Thieneman
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Dillon Thieneman at the 60th overall pick. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick80
Rnd3
Jake Golday
A market-rate edge rusher, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Jake Golday. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick97
Rnd3
Boubacar Traore
They left a pile of value on the table to take Boubacar Traore this early at slot 97. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick161
Rnd5
DJ Campbell
DJ Campbell at Round 5, Pick 22 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick173
Rnd5
Earnest Greene III
They took Earnest Greene III at par in pick No. 173, which is nothing to complain about. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick174
Rnd5
Zane Durant
Zane Durant at pick No. 174 nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick249
Rnd7
Tony Grimes
A tidy little value on Tony Grimes in Round 7, Pick 33, a step better than break-even. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick252
Rnd7
Demon Clowney
A big swing on Demon Clowney at No. 252, well ahead of any board in the building. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
