There is conviction, and then there is this. The Bengals took Ty Robinson a full 89 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend.

The Winston Jr. pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with cornerback, tight end and other spots still on the board. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up. The Winston Jr. pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.
