Isaac should have been long gone. The Bears pounced, and earned a B.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Bears were there to profit. Adisa Isaac, the No. 51 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 75th pick. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The trade work was a quiet net positive. On the needs board they went 5 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.

The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
