You can draft well and still miss the point. The Bengals did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to quarterback, which was the need that mattered most. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

Getting Puni where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
