The Seahawks spent the pick that matters most on Jaxson Dart, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape.

Getting Alexander where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. The cost of the Dart reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
