Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Texans never addressed edge rusher, and it is the kind of gap that lingers. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

They banked enough surplus on Mafah to cover a lot of smaller sins. They are betting Zabel proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
