Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Bears were there to profit. Nick Emmanwori, the No. 19 name on the board, should have been long gone before slot 39.

For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
