You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Rams did exactly that with RJ Oben in the 195th overall pick. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

Getting Dike where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. A whole weekend of picks and running back is somehow still a want. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the running back spot they never got to.
