Somebody took the Bengals to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it. The process wobbled, and the D- is where it lands.

Allen at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The cornerback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They will answer for taking edge rusher early while cornerback, tight end and other spots went begging.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, cornerback very much included.
