The Commanders lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again.

They will regret leaving cornerback for another day if the season turns on it. If Easter pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. On value alone, Slaughter makes the weekend a net positive.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, cornerback very much included.
