The Jaguars treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending pick 48 on Maason Smith a full 56 spots early. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

That safety hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. However the rest shakes out, Devonshire at that price is a win they earned.

Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 4 of 9 of the wish list covered.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
