Overall B
ValueB NeedA- TradesC- FutureA
Best value of the weekend goes to the Jaguars for Bassa: B.

You could see the war room lean forward. Jeffrey Bassa at Round 5, Pick 36 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.

Every board in the league had Buchanan lower, and that gap is the story. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. They gave back a little on the phones for the right to move.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.

Pick Analysis
Pick12 Rnd1 Tetairoa McMillan
In the Round 1 slot they get a true top target at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick36 Rnd2 Walter Nolen
A quiet steal in pick No. 36: Walter Nolen for less than the market said. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick70 Rnd3 Marcus Mbow
Marcus Mbow in No. 70 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick76 Rnd3 Jordan Burch
A reach on Jordan Burch in the 76th overall pick; the board had better options right there. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Pick88 Rnd3 Andrew Mukuba
Andrew Mukuba in pick 88 lands just on the right side of the ledger. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick107 Rnd4 Zy Alexander
A slide stopped in Round 4, Pick 5, with Zy Alexander worth more than the price. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick126 Rnd4 Devin Neal
Circle this one: Devin Neal at the 126th pick is a fall that decides a draft. The roster fit checks out.
Pick142 Rnd5 Pat Bryant
No edge and no loss on Pat Bryant in slot 142; it is a wash and a sensible one. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick174 Rnd5 Jeffrey Bassa
They robbed the room for Jeffrey Bassa here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick182 Rnd6 Malachi Moore
Somehow Malachi Moore was still sitting there in the 182nd pick, and they pounced on premier safety value. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick194 Rnd6 Jason Marshall Jr.
They took Jason Marshall Jr. at par in pick 194, which is nothing to complain about. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick221 Rnd7 Teddye Buchanan
Teddye Buchanan at slot 221 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
