Grand theft in pick No. 178: the Lions steal Shough and grade out a B.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Tyler Shough tumbling to the Lions in Round 6, Pick 2 is a gift they did not have to think twice about.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped safety, which is a strange place to end up. The Brown Jr. pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. They went 5 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Their trades came out a wash either way.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
