The Bears cashed the board's mistake on Neal: B+.

The Bears spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Devin Neal, the No. 83 name on the board, in pick 147. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B+.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Spending an early pick on safety with edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
