Every swap seemed to tilt away from the Commanders, and the value they bled adds up to real damage.

Jayden Daniels is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off. They will need Barner to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. With interior defensive lineman unsolved, spending premium capital on OLB-EDGE is the choice that costs them.

They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. They banked enough surplus on Thomas to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
