A costly weekend of dealing drags the Bills to a D.

The Bills bet big and early on Darius Alexander, 32 picks ahead of the board. Bold does not always mean right. The math is unkind, and the D follows.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. The Parrish pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with linebacker, offensive lineman and other spots still on the board. The linebacker spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Emmanwori. Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.
