The Bears let Mondon Jr. fall into their laps, and walked away with a B. The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Bears watched Smael Mondon Jr. slide 105 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.
They will need Igbinosun to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend.
They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. The veteran additions, Myles Garrett chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.
A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
