The Bears kept it disciplined and banked a B. The war room fell hard for Jay Toia, and it showed at No. 206: 103 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas. No fireworks, but a solid B.
Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Mafah. For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain.
The Bears paired the rookies with proven help, Quinn Meinerz leading the way. They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
