Boards are made to be trusted, and the Bears shredded theirs for Trey Zuhn III. He came off 80 spots early, and the room will hear about it. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

They banked enough surplus on Majors to cover a lot of smaller sins. The phones were where this weekend was really won.

The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The veteran additions, Quinn Meinerz chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
