The Broncos did not so much draft Lyn-J Dixon as overpay for him, 179 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

Bo Nix gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class.

It is not that Stover is a bad player; it is that the Broncos had louder needs to answer first. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Getting Muasau where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
