Draft Grade — Bills
Overall B
ValueB NeedB+ TradesB- FutureB-
Best value of the weekend goes to the Bills for Prysock: B.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Bills watched Ephesians Prysock slide 35 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. The bottom line is a respectable B.

That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Linebacker is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.

Pick Analysis
Pick26 Rnd1 Sonny Styles
In Round 1, Pick 26 they get a three-down second-level presence. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick60 Rnd2 Omar Cooper Jr.
Omar Cooper Jr. at No. 60 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick91 Rnd3 Malachi Fields
Somehow Malachi Fields was still sitting there in the Round 3 slot, and they pounced on premier wide receiver value. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick126 Rnd4 Bishop Fitzgerald
Bishop Fitzgerald in the 126th pick is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick166 Rnd5 Keagen Trost
Nice patience on Keagen Trost, who had no business lasting to pick No. 166. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick220 Rnd7 Ephesians Prysock
Circle this one: Ephesians Prysock at slot 220 is a fall that decides a draft. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Pick228 Rnd7 Josh Moten
Josh Moten in the 228th overall pick is a gift, value that borders on unfair. Depth on depth, at a spot that was hardly crying out.
