The Michael Trigg pick is the one that will follow the Lions into the fall. They took him 193 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so.

Drew Allar gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. They will regret leaving cornerback for another day if the season turns on it.

Metcalf at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
