More right than wrong for the Seahawks, and a B- to prove it.

Priorities are a choice, and the Seahawks made a strange one, taking Maason Smith at DT-EDGE in the Round 3 slot with edge rusher and wide receiver crying out for the pick instead. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. Gray has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

The trade work was a quiet net positive. Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
