The tape said wait; the Bears did not. Sedrick Van Pran went at slot 42, a good 33 picks before the board was ready.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Turner falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.
