The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Bears watched Jihaad Campbell slide 130 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

Majors has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

The trade work was a quiet net positive. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the cornerback spot they never got to.
