The Joe Milton III pick is the one that will follow the Steelers into the fall. They took him 46 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

The Steelers indulged a want in Nugent while a need in interior defensive lineman, safety and other spots stayed open. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The Hardy steal is the beam this whole class leans on.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
