There is reaching, and then there is Roman Hemby at pick No. 219. The Raiders jumped the board by 135 and dared it to prove them wrong. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

So much rides on Fernando Mendoza that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. On value alone, Everette makes the weekend a net positive. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
