The Broncos let DeJean fall and pounced. Final grade: B.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Broncos were there to profit. Cooper DeJean, the No. 13 name on the board, should have been long gone before slot 76. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

If Wedig pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up.

Job largely done: linebacker settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
