Draft Grade — Titans
Overall C+
ValueA NeedB+ TradesF FutureA+
Larceny in pick No. 178 lands the Titans a C+, Sanders and all.

The rest of the league will want that one back. T.J. Sanders tumbling to the Titans in pick 178 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. A weekend of give and take that grades a C+.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. They punted on running back, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

They went 5 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.

It grades out a shrug today, with plenty of room to move either way.

Pick Analysis
Pick30 Rnd1 Shemar Stewart
In the 30th pick they get a bendy edge with upside, outstanding value to boot. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick35 Rnd2 Jaxson Dart
Jaxson Dart in Round 2, Pick 3 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick44 Rnd2 Armand Membou
Armand Membou at slot 44 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick76 Rnd3 Jahdae Barron
They will replay Jahdae Barron at the Round 3 slot for years; that is how good the value is. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick103 Rnd4 Wyatt Milum
A offensive lineman of that caliber at the 103rd overall pick is the definition of value, full stop. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick109 Rnd4 Josaiah Stewart
You do not let an edge rusher like Josaiah Stewart reach pick 109 and blink. They did not. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick120 Rnd4 Marcus Mbow
They robbed the room for Marcus Mbow here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick141 Rnd5 Dylan Fairchild
Taking Dylan Fairchild in pick No. 141 is close to grand larceny; an offensive lineman that good had no business lasting this long. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick167 Rnd5 Jihaad Campbell
Steal is underselling it; Jihaad Campbell at No. 167 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick169 Rnd5 Jared Wilson
Jared Wilson at pick No. 169 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick178 Rnd6 T.J. Sanders
They barely believed it either: T.J. Sanders still on the board at slot 178. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick188 Rnd6 Alfred Collins
The board fumbled Alfred Collins all the way to the 188th pick, and they scooped it up. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
