You build a draft on nights like this. Luke McCaffrey had no business being available in Round 6, Pick 19, and the Steelers did the only sane thing and turned in the card.

The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Eichenberg has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

They will answer for taking offensive lineman early while quarterback, interior defensive lineman and other spots went begging.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
