The Taulia Tagovailoa selection is the head-turner. The Steelers reached 92 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. It grades a D+, and the process earned it.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. The Puni pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at safety, edge rusher and other spots. They will regret leaving safety for another day if the season turns on it.

Sainristil at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.
